We’re really excited (ok, and a little nervous!) as it’s only ONE WEEK until BlueLightCamp 2014.
So far, around a hundred people have registered to attend either one, or both, days over the weekend 10-11th May. A quick skim through the list on Eventbrite shows a mixture of people from:
- Police
- Fire Service
- Mountain Rescue
- Software / Application experts
- Government agencies
- Academia
- Charities
- Interest / Campaign groups
- Journalists / Hyperlocal news
- Councils
- Comms professionals
- Freelancers
- Pilots (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles)
There are quite a few who prefer not to be identified with an organisation, and are attending just as themselves which is, of course, absolutely fine.
As far as I can see, the Mancunians are in the lead so far as those prepared to travel the furthest to attend a fab event.
There are still a few tickets left for both days, so if you’ve not signed up yet and fancy joining a really interesting group of people talking about / doing stuff to improve public and emergency services, then sign up here.
