This is a guest post by one of our fab sponsors: Learning Pool
We’re very pleased at Learning Pool to help support BlueLightCamp again this year. In 2012, around a hundred people took part in this landmark emergency services event, including representatives from the police, FRS and ambulance services, as well as the wider public and voluntary sectors.
We had a fantastic time last year, sharing our experience of how online training services can be best used in emergency services. We also got the chance to mingle with some lovely folk from blue light services from all over the UK.
In no particular order, here are five reasons why we’re sponsoring 2013’s event:
1) Ties in with our ethos of sharing best-practice and working together
2) We advocate using social media to engage with staff and stakeholders
3) We can share our experience and advise on using online services
4) We’ll get the chance to learn something new
5) We had such a great time last year!
Our customers include, Cambridgeshire FRS, Avon FRS, Hertfordshire FRS and Devon & Somerset FRS, so we’re well equipped to discuss how online services are helping these organisations, particularly in terms of staff training.
