British APCO (BAPCO) logoThis seminar is part of the British Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials event in Manchester on the 1st and 2nd of April 2014.

The event is being held at Manchester Central (http://www.manchestercentral.co.uk/)

British APCO has been given the responsibility from the Government 999/112 Liaison Committee for the moderation of app based technologies that are used in conjunction with the emergency services.  This seminar will use the REALRIDER (ww.realrider.com) mobile application as a case study on how British APCO will be approaching this new responsibility to allow apps to directly interface with the 999/112 system.

This seminar is for software developers who are already involved in developing apps and new technologies for the emergency services who would like to integrate their current applications directly into the 999/112 system; or those software developers that would like to understand the opportunities within the sector.

BlueLightCamp Logo 450pxIt will also help those that are considering going to this year’s BlueLightCamp 2014 event at Ordnance Survey’s HQ especially those attending the hackathon.

Come and visit the BlueLightCamp area at Manchester to share your ideas and insights about ideas for apps that can be looked at within the hackathon.
