It’s that time of year again when we are looking for sponsors to help support BlueLightCamp 2014. We are seeking financial and ‘in-kind’ support, and incentives for the ideas that come out of the hackathon.

OS HQ entranceNew venue

This year, BlueLightCamp will be held at Ordnance Survey’s fabulous HQ in Southampton. We’re just finalising the dates, but it will probably be either 10/11 May, or 7/8 June.

Sponsorship

If you’ve sponsored BlueLightCamp previously, then you’ll already know it’s a great opportunity to meet and talk to innovators from across the emergency services. As BlueLightCamp is held at a weekend, most attendees will be there in their own time and are already likely to be interested.

British APCO’s Annual Exhibition

Manchester Central

In addition to promoting your organisation at BlueLightCamp, we’ll also have a stand at Britsh APCO’s annual exhibition in Manchester. Our stand at British APCO will also be one of the locations that people get their “passport” stamped – this allows them to enter the British APCO competition. At this event we will be having banner(s) with our 2014 sponsors on it and are happy to have any other literature that you would like us to hand out during the event.

If you would like your organisation to be showcased at British APCO, the deadline is second week in March so that we can get the banner designed. We of course will be adding sponsors to all of our other communications channels as they come on board.

More detail on British APCO can be found on their website: http://www.bapco.org.uk

BlueLightCamp

Then there is the BlueLightCamp 2014 event itself which will follow the same format as previous years where sponsors will have the opportunity to showcase their services/products depending on the level of sponsorship (see website for guidance on what you sponsorship money will provide you in return).

British APCO’s Autumn event

Later in the year there is another British APCO event (the autumn event) and BlueLightCamp will be at this also showcasing any learning and hackathon ideas to those attending. Again this is another opportunity for those sponsors who are on board by March to be advertised to the attendees through our stand and promotional material.

Ongoing relationship

We hope you agree that this three tiered approach helps you promote your organisation to the widest audience for your sponsorship, and of course we will continue to promote your organisation over the whole year through our social media channels if you would like us to.

If you have any questions or would like further information about our sponsorship opportunities, please contact either Mark Braggins or myself.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes
